How the Badlanders I Began

It was the early 70's that Bert moved back to the Drumheller area with his family.  It was only natural that he and his Dad would play music together again!  They formed the first Badlanders with Bob on piano, Bert on saxophone, Ian Spearing on drums, and Spud Hromada on accordian.  They produced two LP's in the 70's.  They disbanded when Ian and Bert left the area with their jobs.  Bob continued playing piano until he passed away in 1994 in Drumheller.
