Precious Cargo

Pat's four daughters picked up the Hoy musical talent in a big way! This is the FOURTH GENERATION of music makers! The girls' interest in singing the old tunes was ignited by memories of their Grandad playing the piano. The girls, Amy, Barb, Alison and Julie named themselves "Precious Cargo" because their Gram Hoy used to tell Pat to drive carefully, because she had a very precious cargo there with all those little kids. Precious Cargo created a "Bob Hoy Remembered" CD. They put on a series of concerts and promoted their CD with great success! Their uncommonly beautiful harmonies blend as only sisters' voices can, although each girl has her own unique sound. They are accompanied by The Badlanders II band with their mom, Pat, Uncle Bert and Ian Spearing. Their melodic sound brings a peaceful place in the hearts of those who listen to it. It appeals to all ages - and children love it too. Many a Mom has told the girls of how their children like to listen to their songs when they go to sleep at night.

The girls had an exceptional opportunity to perform with internationally acclaimed pianist, Marvin Goldstein. They had so much fun with Marvin that they decided to make a "Love Song" CD together. This CD is produced with three sisters, Amy, Barb, and Julie, who now live close enough to practise and perform together. This CD of 16 love songs shows the diverse interest the girls have in music from all eras. Included are two original songs by Amy and Barb. Marvin's beautiful piano accompaniment brings it all together - - just sit back and enjoy the escape into Precious Cargo's love songs.
